I started JK Cricket in my parents garage at 15, just looking for something more than school. Over the past decade I have dedicated myself to the craft of repairing and custom-making cricket bats. JK has gone from a backyard brand to one trusted by players at the highest level.

Today, that same passion still drives everything. Every bat that leaves this workshop has been touched by me at every stage.

I started making bats at 15 in my parents garage. I did not know then that I would still be doing it a decade later, or that the bats would end up in the hands of Australian cricketers.

Every bat that leaves this workshop has been touched by me at every stage. The willow selection, the shaping, the pressing, the finishing.

When you order a JK bat, you are not buying off a shelf. You are commissioning something. There is a difference.

We are detailed in finding the perfect cleft for you. There are so many variables in willow, so the weight, grade and your preferences are carefully considered when we choose our clefts. We use the same clefts for all our customers and Australian Test level players.
